11/09/2018 Rudder – Match Drilled All Holes on Skins (1 hour)

Got response from Van’s support this morning:

“Kai, This doesn’t look like too big a deal. Worst case, you may need to use slightly longer rivets in the elongated holes to allow for additional sideways expansion while still forming a reasonable shop head. The trailing edge is glued anyway with the tank sealant, so it is not going to come apart.”

So I continue on drilling the remaining holes on rudder skins.
