07/31/2018 Horizontal Stabilizer – Sanding Before Priming (5 Hours)

After a two week break from building due to flight instructing and a flying trip to Oshkosh, I got back to the garage today and started sanding all the parts before applying primer.

I’m not sure if I’m just being extra cautious or I’m sanding incorrectly, it took forever to sand those few parts and there were always some tiny scratches that I wanted to sanded off. At the end of the day I still had a few parts left that I haven’t sanded yet.

When I got sick of sanding the parts, I switched to a different task of using some poultry netting and aluminum angles to create a priming frame.
